Cookie Policy

1. About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Diroute, operated by Cyrock Capital LLC FZ (“we”, “us”, “our”), uses cookies and similar technologies on the Diroute marketplace (the “Marketplace”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
2. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device when you visit. Cookies let a site remember your actions and preferences over time so you do not have to re-enter them. “Similar technologies” include browser storage such as localStorage, which a site can use to keep small amounts of data in your browser.
We use only the storage that is strictly necessary to run the Marketplace. We do not use advertising, marketing, or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell your data to advertisers.
3. The cookies we use
The Marketplace sets a small number of essential cookies. These are required for the site to work and cannot be switched off through a preference setting.
- diroute_checkout — keeps your checkout session together while you place an order, so your details and payment step stay linked to the right basket.
- diroute_admin — signs in members of our staff to the internal administration portal. It is set only for staff and plays no part in an ordinary shopper’s visit.
4. Browser storage we use
Your basket is not stored in a cookie. Instead we keep it in your browser’s localStorage under the key diroute-basket, so the items you add stay in place as you browse and between visits on the same device. This data lives in your browser, is not sent to us as a cookie on every request, and you can clear it at any time through your browser’s site-data controls.
5. No advertising or tracking cookies
We do not place advertising cookies, third-party marketing pixels, or cross-site tracking technologies on the Marketplace. Because buyers currently check out as guests, we do not maintain shopper accounts or profiles for advertising purposes.
6. Managing cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings — most browsers let you view stored cookies, block them, or remove them for a particular site. You can also clear localStorage from the same site-data controls. Because the cookies above are essential, blocking them may stop checkout or the staff portal from working correctly.
Your browser’s help pages explain how to manage this data in the version you use.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it last changed, and material changes take effect when posted.
